If you use Merry on behalf of a healthcare organization, that organization may be the controller of patient information processed through the Services, and a separate business associate agreement or customer agreement may also apply.

Account and contact information. Name, email address, phone number, organization, role, and messages you send through forms or email (including demo and careers inquiries).

Usage and device data. Log data, browser type, pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, and similar analytics needed to operate and improve the website and product.

Clinical and product content. When you use Merry products, we may process audio, transcripts, clinical notes, prompts, and related workflow data as directed by your organization and our customer agreements.

• Respond to inquiries, demos, and support requests

We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer clinical content to train public foundation models unless a customer has expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Where Merry processes protected health information (PHI) for covered entities or business associates, that processing is governed by applicable HIPAA requirements and the relevant customer and business associate agreements. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal and contractual requirements, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Retention periods vary by data type and customer configuration.

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we continuously improve our controls as threats and best practices evolve.

Depending on your location and relationship with us, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. If you are a clinician or staff user under a customer account, some requests may need to go through your organization.
